Help Active Ageing Centres (AACs) reach out to seniors—especially those who may be socially isolated—by volunteering for door-to-door outreach in selected housing blocks within the neighbourhood.
Volunteers will share information about the AAC’s ongoing programmes and encourage seniors to participate in the centre’s daily activities. Each outreach session lasts approximately 2 to 3 hours.
Details:
Both ad-hoc and regular volunteers are welcome
Weekday and weekend slots available
Volunteer schedules can be arranged based on availability
Volunteers who speak Malay or Mandarin are preferred, as many seniors are more comfortable in these languages
About Active Ageing Centres:
AACs are community-based social and recreational spaces that support seniors living nearby. They aim to promote active ageing through daily programmes, health monitoring, and social engagement.
