Crochet Instructor for Mums Support Group

Overview

Join us in creating a warm and supportive space for mums in the community to learn, connect, and take a breather from their daily responsibilities.

As a volunteer, you will:

  • Facilitate a simple, beginner-friendly crochet session
  • Guide 4–5 mums who are new and open to learning
  • Create a relaxed and encouraging environment for interaction

We’re looking for volunteers who have basic crochet skills, enjoy working with small groups, and are patient and encouraging!

We need volunteers for a 1-hour session at Filos Office @ Blk 38 (morning preferred, timing flexible). Date and time to be confirmed. Open to discussion!

This will be a trial session, with the possibility of more sessions if participants are keen!

Overview

We are looking for a friendly and patient volunteer to guide a small group of mums in a beginner-friendly crochet session.


The group consists of mums from the community who are looking for a space to learn, connect, and take a breather from their daily responsibilities, while picking up something new along the way.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Facilitate a simple, beginner-level crochet session
  • Guide 4–5 mums who are new and open to learning
  • Create a warm and encouraging environment for learning and interaction
Session Details:
  • Location: Filos Office @ Blk 38
  • Duration: 1 hour (trial session to start)
  • Timing: Flexible (morning preferred)
If the session goes well and participants are keen, there may be opportunities to continue with future sessions.

We’re looking for someone who:
  • Has basic crochet skills (beginner-friendly teaching is sufficient!)
  • Is patient, encouraging, and enjoys working with small groups
  • Is open to creating a relaxed and supportive learning space
