Reading Room (Special)

Start - End Date

01 Jan 2025 - 31 Dec 2025

Overview

The Reading Room was started to support young children from vulnerable backgrounds in their reading skills. This happens on a weekly basis on Fridays at Filos. And every first Friday of the month, we have The Reading Room (Special) session which provides a platform for children to experience reading through other various ways such as drama/skit/crafts. Through the activities, we also hope to create awareness and encourage adoption and advocacy of healthy habits in children (4 - 12 years old).

This programme is part of Project PEER (Play, Eat, Exercise, Rest) and is a Movement for Health (M4H) initiative that aims to bring awareness, create opportunities to adopt and advocate healthy habits in children and their communities.
