Overview
CareNights is a programme that is run by Morning Star Community Services for children from disadvantaged families on weekday evenings, 6pm - 9pm. Volunteer roles include Tuition, CareNights Facilitator and Reading Room.

Role Description:
• Coach students in completing school homework and revision
• Encourage good study habits and nurture healthy esteem and character
• Prepare for lessons, mark assessments and explain mistakes to students
• Engage all students at their ability and allow opportunities for everyone to answer
• Provide updates and work together with staff on progress of children
• 18 Years old minimally
• Patient and willing to support children with autism

• Teach and guide young children from vulnerable backgrounds in reading
• Cultivate the love of reading through storytelling and literacy activities
• Proficient in English
• Able to manage a small setting of 1- 3 children
